Prepare Second Edition combines teen-appeal topics with extensive preparation for the revised 2020 A2 Key for Schools and B1 Preliminary for Schools exams.
Personalised lessons
Themes and resources in Prepare are designed to be both faithful to the exam topics and at the same time relevant and interesting to school-aged learners. For example, About you tasks and Talking Points encourage learners to connect their lives to the lesson themes and to share their experiences with their classmates.
Life skills
New Life Skills sections help students to develop competencies they will need for the rest of their lives, including team work, decision making, social responsibilities, creativity, presentation skills and many more.
Culture
Students can explore Shopping in London, the Paralympics, team sports in Canada, British TV and other subjects through the new videos and texts in the revised Culture sections.
The Exam Journey
Prepare’s unique exam journey moves students towards exam success with a two-book approach to each exam level. The pre-exam* level books build students’ confidence, gently introducing the test format and exam tasks. In the exam level books there is targeted practice and training for the exam including a full test at the end of the books.

Extra preparation
Prepare also includes a Grammar reference and practice section, Word lists, Irregular verbs and a Prepare for the Exam section in Levels 3, 5 and 7.
